Petite Retreat delivers nationwide and every effort has been made to keep costs as low as possible by using regular courier services. For orders over $300, in the Sydney metro area, delivery is free.
Smaller items are usually despatched via Australia Post. For furniture items, a variety of couriers are used, most frequently Direct Freight.
An estimated dispatch time is listed under the product details. As soon as your item has been picked at the warehouse, a tracking number and estimated date of delivery will be emailed to you. Sydneysiders, please be aware that the time between despatch and delivery can be quite short so please be on the lookout for emails.
Please liaise with the courier, when they get in touch, and make yourself available to take delivery.
If you’re happy for your item to be left unattended, simply let us us know where you would like it to be left and we’ll let the courier know.
Deliveries will be made to the ground floor or front door by a single delivery driver. The service does not include carrying items inside, upstairs, in elevators, placement, assembly, or the removal of wrapping .
If you do need more assistance, that’s not a problem. A two man technical delivery service can be arranged at an extra charge. Just request a quote for this when you order.
Occasionally delays in shipping can occur, Petite Retreat cannot be held responsible for the delivery and delivery times of Goods once dispatched or for any loss caused by the delay.
Deliveries take place during business hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday), unless other arrangements are made, in advance. The title and risk in the Goods pass to you once payment is received in full. Deliveries cannot be made to post office boxes.

How do I get an estimate of shipping costs?
There is a delivery estimator on each product page. You can find it just below the price, and above the ‘add to basket’ icon. Click on the link and you’ll be asked to type in your postcode. There maybe a couple of delivery options available to you. The cost is confirmed at the checkout point once you have chosen your preferred option.
The delivery estimator &/ checkout process is not giving me a delivery cost. It says quote required.
Not all Australian postcodes are covered by the delivery estimator. If you get the above error message, you can either (i) send an email and ask for a quote or (ii) continue through the checkout and purchase process, choosing the ‘quote method’ and we will send you a quote. If you’re not happy with the quote, we will, of course refund the full amount.
