What I found really surprised me: most stores catered for the family home, selling big and, somewhat bulky, six piece settings or modular sofas that, couldnt be bought as individual pieces. Much of what was on offer would overcrowd my space, or force me to use it for only one purpose. 

Coming from a Marketing background, I saw the opportunity, and the idea of Petite Retreat was born.   I have assembled a collection of items  to provide choice and inspiration for you to create an inviting, tranquil outdoor space where you can entertain;  enjoy a meal;  or simply relax in the fresh air and read the paper - whatever takes your fancy. 

The carefully chosen range of furniture and accessories  is perfectly suited to smaller outdoor space and is sourced locally and internationally. All pieces must meet the criteria of being:
